The Atlantic Indoor Rowing Championships which was held in Nova Scotia was a great success.
Rowing New Brunswick comprised approximately 1/5 of the entries and won 1/2 of all contested entries. The UNB/STU women posted excellent times in their first ever indoor regatta
Athletes from the Freericton Rowing Club, the Two Rivers Rowing Club, University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University participated in the weekend rowing events.
Shannah Jensen of FRC placed 1st, while Vanessa Paesani of FRC placed 2cd for the Novice Womens Divison.
Josh Fowler of the TRRC placed 1st in the Junior Men's Division.
Laura Corscadden of FRC placed 1st and Valerie Thomas of FRC placed 2cd for the JuniorWomen's Division. Laura Corscadden also placed 1st in the Juniro LW Womens.
Janice Lawrence of FRC placed 1st in the Master LW Women's.
Pat Cody of FRC placed 1st in the Master LW Men's Division.
Dan Guest of FRC places 1st in the Under 23 LW Men's Division.
Marie St. Louis of UNB/STU placed 2cd for the University LW Women.
Lyle Skinner of UNB/STU placed 1st in the University LW Men's.
Nadia Kovachas of UNB/STU placed 2cs in the University Womens Division.
