Long time member of our rowing community, Moe Cody, passed away January 4, 2009. Moe was co-founder of the NS Sprints (Bud Myra Memorial Rowing Regatta) which begain in 1972, a member of the NSRA Executive for many years and a dedicated umpire to our sport. Moe received many national awards including Rowing Canada's Centennial Medal, The Award of Merit, long service award and was named Rowing Canada's Umpire of the Year in 1998 and 2006. Moe will fondly be remembered by all of us.
